Employee Guidelines Related to Payroll - Holidays

HOLIDAYS:

The calendar, which is adopted annually by the Board, establishes paid and non-paid holidays to be observed during the year.

Instructional:
The Board provides six (6) paid holidays (the maximum allowed by law) for eligible employees.  Paid holidays are included in the annual contract salary for instructional personnel.  See Board Approved School Calendar for the exact days. 

Administrative and Non-instructional:
The Board provides for (6) paid holidays for eligible employees.  These holidays are paid in addition to the regular contract amount. They are New Year’s Day (January 1st), Martin Luther King Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving and December 25th (Christmas Day).  Additionally, the following non-paid holidays are observed each year:  Good Friday, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July.
